Pompeii, Naples, and the Coast

| No Comments | No TrackBacks
I had an amazing time travelling Italy. I discovered Pompeii, hiked up the volcano (Mount Vesuvius), and went to Herculaneum. Herculaneum is mainly buried by a new city near the coast. At one time, it was a coastal city, but it was destroyed by lava when the volcano erupted. Pompeii was covered by the ashes. I also explored Naples, Sorrento and other towns along the Amalfi coast.
