Pumpkin Cookies

I finally had time this evening to make pumpkin cookies, after finally receiving the tin of pumpkin on January first that my parents posted in mid-November (notice how slow the post is). For anyone who has attempted to cook in conversion between different measurements (US to UK), you will understand and sympathize with me. Cups to grams, US teaspoons to UK teaspoons, Fahrenheit to Celsius. My sugar cookie experience in November turned out to be a fiasco. At least I've fared better with the pumpkin cookies, and they are delicious. Back to web things now, I have added a section for useful and fun links.

Dissertation Project

It's a frantic couple of weeks here as I am trying to think of a project for my dissertation. I am thinking of researching J2EE and web services and developing an application. I have also thought about using mobile technologies and the web with GPS.

The Mysterious Cow

The Missing Snowman has not been found; no ransom notes nor plastic bags of water have been left in the mailbox. Perhaps he was hauled off in a freezer-truck to be taken to a huge cooler with other stolen snowmen. Well, exams were over last week and the new term starts tomorrow *frown*. I went to London yesterday to the Science Museum. In the Agricultural section, there were some children who did not know what cattle were. I could not believe this. I recognised most of the items and pictures in the displays, and my family still uses some of them on the farm. I can not believe that today's people think that cattle come from the supermarket or McDonalds. I was just dumbfounded. My existence on this Earth and Earth itself was questioned at that very moment. Moving on from that diversion, I've updated the web section of this site.
