Have returned from last weekend's mini-break to Dartmoor. There's nothing like getting lost on the stone tors in the middle of the moors without computer access. As it was incredibly windy and pouring with rain on Sunday, my feet were soaked. Stayed at a lovely bed and breakfast in Dunford and had delicious tea and scones with Devonshire clotted cream and strawberry jam in Moretonhampstead; Chagford's Saturday evening meal was horrible, though. Other news: I've got a few ideas for my dissertation. More about this will be coming soon when I get it organised in my head.
In memory of a dear friend who was born on this day in 1988 and passed away on May 26, 2003. He was only 15-years-old, and he gave me many smiles from the day he was born. Other news: I am going on a trip to Dartmoor National Park in Devon this weekend for a mini-break before I'm overly-bombarded with university work.
