London

Back from London at last! Had two perfect sunny days (just a little rain today). Wednesday, I went to Baker Street and walked around Regent's Park, then down to Oxford Street (shopping) and to Regent Street to Piccadilly Circus. Went back through and back to the hotel to rest my legs and watch some television. No computers. Nothing to annoy me. Therapeutic. Today, I went to Baker Street and Regent's Park again. Lovely. Then, I walked to Oxford Street to Charing Cross Road where I walked toward Leicester Square, stopping in bookshops. I've just finished "North and South" and all of the others I bought this year. I looked but found nothing. It rained. I walked through Leicester Square, to Green Park and Knightsbridge for a stop at some of the shops there before taking the tube back to the hotel and leaving. Wish I'd spent the evening as it was picturesque. Would have loved another walk around the park or out with friends. London isn't too bad (it can be great) if you have someone to share it with.
