Travels to Dubai

I've just returned from Dubai. Amazing beaches, weather, shopping malls, and a list of other unique attractions make this an interesting city to visit. Dubai has the largest indoor ski resort  in the world, and this is inside a huge, westernised shopping mall, with European and American brands. Dubai has gold souqs, the world's tallest building (which is growing even taller), and man-made islands forming the shapes of palm trees and the world continents.

Dubai is still growing as a city, and it has a wide mix of people. Although westernised, the traditional middle-eastern culture remains, and this is the most evident in the old part of the city and along Dubai Creek.

As mentioned, Dubai is being developed quickly. They are currently installing a new network of public transport - trains. Building is still taking place along the coast and in the completed palm. The second palm-shaped island and world continents are currently being developed. It would be amazing to come back in a few years to see what changes have been made.
