Despite the game being addictive and requiring time spent to come back to harvest crops and collect items, the creators are constantly developing new challenges to keep players interested. As a result of the constant number of tasks that need to be completed to keep ahead, Farmville requires many hours and quite easily sucks up free time. I used to play it but had to give up on it as I was unable to meet the demands and ensure that I could harvest my virtual crops before they died.

I believe that many find Farmville rewarding (even if it is a little bit addictive). I think that Farmville is a great way to interact with friends 'on occasion'. I believe that this is why it is so popular; anyone can play it and play it in their own leisure.
