Street artist Thierry Noir returned to London to paint on a couple of walls. I originally posted the article about him here: Street Art: Thierry Noir - Jenikya's Blog. I was lucky to see him at work a little over a year ago at the Dulwich Art Festival (Open Day at the Street Art House, Dulwich Arts Festival: Part 2). He also contributed to artwork outside the London Museum this summer, which I covered here: Thierry Noir, RUN, and John Dolan Murals at the Museum of London.
This spring, Thierry Noir painted a couple of walls on Rivington Street. One belongs to a cafe that is always busy, and the other one is outside Cargo club. The faces are bright and colourful and a welcome addition to east London.
The artist was in London for an event recently. Hopefully some more of his work will pop up again soon.
