UK 2015 Glossybox Review: May

Almost two weeks ago, my Glossybox arrived. Like the Birchbox, which I received earlier the same week, I had a busy week and had to do a lot of overtime, so I left it for a few days without opening to see what was inside! I have not seen any spoilers this month, so everything was a surprise to me. For those who are not familiar, Glossybox is a monthly subscription box that contains approximately five beauty and skin-care products in sample or full sizes.

I received the following items in the box this month:

MeMeMe Enchanted Eyes Dual Ended Eye Wand: This is a lovely eyeshadow in two lovely blue colours, a turquoise and a navy shade. I loved this product! The colour went on smoothly, and it's easy to line my eyelids with it. I loved the colours as well as they match my eyes.

Estre Belle Aloe Vera Ultra Moisturising Gel: This product is a cooling gel for the skin, and it can be used to add moisture after sitting in the sun. The product also mentioned using it to freshen up appearance. I tried the product on my face, and it has a 'fresh' smell and glides into the skin. With this type of product, it would take time to see if it does what it claims.

Zerreau Towel Off Shampoo Foam: This is a dry shampoo, and this is a type of product that I am always keen to try as I'd like to get to the point where I do not need to shampoo every day because I think it's hard on hair and skin. The product smells like apple, so that was a plus. I waited two days without a hair wash in order to try this. I used a lot of the product to massage into my hair and used a towel to pat it dry and remove the grease and oil from my hair as the instructions mentioned. My hair no longer looks like it needs a wash. This would be a sensible product for traveling to places where there may not be water. I wish I'd had it a few years ago when I went to Marrakesh and the city turned the water off.

SASS Intimate Perfect Skin Concentrate: This product is meant to be used after shaving or waxing to soothe skin and slow hair regrowth. This is a product that needs to be used over time in order to see if there's any changes.

Philosophy renewed 'hope in a jar' moisturiser: 'Hope in a Jar' is a product that I have heard of before, and it promises to make skin appear healthier and renewed and reduce the effects of pollution and harsh weather. This is a product that needs to be used over time in order to see if there's any changes.

What did you think of this month's Glossybox? My verdict is that it is a little underwhelming.
