Description:
This website is dedicated to helping conservation-related projects by providing Internet users with awareness and information about conservation projects all over the world. Users can give a donation to the project of their choice and the view dontation statistics on the website. In addition to project information and donations, the website contains links to conservation-related news articles and blogs. Users can also purchase products that contribute to the environment.
Objectives:
To develop the website into a community as the place to go to view information about conservation projects and make donations. Used multimedia and provided several interactive features for users to learn about the projects and to make their mark on the projects that interest them. The main navigation is structured to allow the user to view projects by continent or by type (wildlife, marine life, rainforest, atmosphere, etc). In addition, users are also provided with full search functionality. The scope of this project also required the development of an administration website for the administrator to add new projects and update all website content. The website was developed in ASP with a database.
