I went skiing for the first time, and the choice destination was Finland. I went to Ruka, a fairly new ski resort. It is a small resort, but this is also an advantage for a first-time skiier because the slopes were not too crowded. However, it was very cold and daylight only lasted for a couple of hours a day. Along with skiing, I also tried snow-shoeing, sled-riding with husky dogs, snowmobiling, and I visited a reindeer farm. Ruka offers a lot of different activities, and I can also see that it is family-oriented. It would be good to come back in a couple of years to see how this new resort has changed.

According to an article on the BBC News website yesterday, users make up their minds about the content of a website within seconds of visiting the website. Website usability and design is highly important and as important as creating a functional, bug-free website with good content. This book (CSS Mastery by Andy Budd) provides a good introduction to CSS, but it is also a useful resource to those who have been creating their own CSS designs for a while. The book refreshes the material and provides some hints and tips and cross-browser knowledge based on the author's experiences. It covers all aspects of CSS from the positioning of elements to changing the appearance and layout of elements and best practices for accomplishing some common tasks. I recommend this book to all CSS developers, no matter how advanced they are.
